KidSmart helps St. Louis area children succeed in school by
providing free school supplies to more than 40,000 kids in need.
OUR MISSION is to ensure that children and their classrooms in the Greater Metropolitan Saint Louis Area have the basic tools for learning by transferring, at no cost, the community's surplus supplies and merchandise into the hands of teachers for school children in need.

Volunteer Appreciation Month
It takes 20 volunteers per day to keep the KidSmart-Tools for Learning store stocked and serving area schools. KidSmart is grateful to the many volunteers who share their time and talent to provide area students with the tools they need to succeed in school.

New Store = New Supplies for Kids
As part of the ribbon cutting for the new Office Depot store in Ellisville, KidSmart received a $500.00 check from the Office Depot Foundation on March 27.

Angel Character Awards Ceremony
Partnering with the Mary Beth’s Angels Foundation, KidSmart honors ten local students for demonstrating strong character traits. On Thursday, February 28, a dinner and awards ceremony, made possible by Purina, was held at the City Academy for the students and their families.more >>
Gift of Heart Supply Drive
Thank you to the churches and religious organizations who took part in KidSmart’s Gift of Heart Supply Drive. Through the generosity of the St. Louis community over 11,000 supplies were collected during the month of February.more >>
