KidSmart’s 1st Halloween Festival
On Friday, October 26, KidSmart held its first Halloween Festival to kick off the fall season. Volunteers and staff celebrated with a chili cook off and pumpkin carving fun.
“Most of our volunteers come on different days, so this was a great opportunity for our volunteers to get to know each other better,” said Natalie Ellis, KidSmart Store Manager.
The chili cook off consisted of staff members bringing a crock pot of chili which the volunteers tasted and judged. Danielle, KidSmart’s Operations Coordinator, won the chili cook off, but don’t ask her to share her secret recipe!
