Local Students Sharpen Community Service Skills by Collecting More Than 2,400 Pencils for KidSmart
While many organizations are holding canned food drives, the girl scouts at Incarnate Word Elementary school decided to take a different approach to giving this season.
Members of Girl Scout Troop 1585 at the school hosted a school supply drive to help St. Louis area kids in need. The troop collected 2,727 school supplies, including 2,470 pencils, during the drive, which benefited KidSmart - Tools for Learning.
