Westminster Students Kick-Off Year of Service at KidSmart
KidSmart - Tools for Learning welcomed fifteen graduating seniors from Westminster Christian Academy. The Westminster senior high students volunteered their time at KidSmart to kick off a year of service to the community.
Every Thursday the students will spend a half-day serving the St. Louis area by donating time to local non-profits. While at KidSmart the group sorted, tallied, and stocked supplies from the 2006 Push for Pencils school supplies campaign.
Rachel Wisdom, a Westminster senior stated, "I enjoyed helping KidSmart by organizing supplies that could be used for arts and crafts in an elementary school."
"We truly appreciate the Westminster seniors for donating their time and services to KidSmart," explains Allison Rockamann, KidSmart manager of corporate and donor relations, "We are truly grateful for all of their help during this busy time."
