And The Final Count Is…
After diligent volunteers spent countless hours in the KidSmart warehouse tallying the supplies raised during Push for Pencils, we finally have the FINAL COUNT…
This year, our goal was to raise 385,000 supplies and $50,000 in financial donations. Because of all of the FANTASTIC drives held throughout the St. Louis community, this year’s Push for Pencils supply drive was KidSmart’s most successful drive to date.
So how did we do, you ask…?
This year we raised 396,406 supplies and $54,000!! We beat our goals by over 10,000 supplies and $4,000! CONGRATULATIONS to all of our dedicated participants. YOU are the ones who made this all a reality. You are making a difference in lives of countless students in St. Louis, and helping to ensure they have a brighter future.
In addition to collecting all of these supplies, as of September 30th, KidSmart has already distributed over half a million dollars worth of school supplies to local St. Louis teachers.
