The KidSmart Free Store is located in an 11,000 square foot office building in Bridgeton, Missouri where teachers have the chance to shop for free school supplies and educational materials for their students in need.

KidSmart is the only free educational supply store in Missouri and currently serves students at more than 100 St. Louis area schools. More than 90,000 St. Louis area students are eligible for KidSmart’s services.

Teachers at schools where 70% or more of the students qualify for the federal free and reduced lunch program are eligible for KidSmart’s services. Teachers typically receive an average of $650-$1000+ in free school supplies for his or her students during each shopping trip.

To be eligible to shop, teachers must be a full-time, certified teacher with his or her own classroom, at one of our enrolled schools. To learn more about how to shop click here.

KidSmart is open for shopping Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 – 6 pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Shoppers must be checked in 30 minutes prior to the store closing. Teachers are eligible to shop once a month.

Teachers from schools not enrolled to shop may be able earn a shopping trip by participating in our Volunteer to Shop program.
