Smart Box

KidSmart understands that teachers periodically have school obligations, family demands, child care challenges, and second jobs that make monthly shopping a challenge. The “Smart Box” program is designed to give teachers who can't get to the store every month a chance to get some basic supplies in a quick, drive through manner.

Smart Boxes are available on Wednesdays between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. KidSmart shopping rules still apply (teachers must be “eligible” or “VTS” and must show a valid photo id). The Smart Boxes contain a pre-packaged assortment of supplies (value estimated at $300), and the supplies will be transferred into a box/bag the participating teacher brings with them. Reserving and picking up a Smart Box will count as your shopping trip for the month.

All you have to do:

RSVP by Tuesday 6:00 pm (This is the day before you pick up the supplies) by emailing keri@kidsmartstl.org

Please be sure you receive and read your confirmation email before you arrive for your Smart Box on a Wednesday.

Drive around to the back of the KidSmart building to the second loading dock door between 4-6pm on Wednesdays(must arrive by 5:45 to pick up supplies).

Bring a box, bin, or bags to transfer the supplies from our box to your vehicle.
